FAQs

Fill with tap, filtered or mineral water and leave overnight or for a duration of 8 hours. Ayurvedic principles recommend drinking the water in the morning, on an empty stomach ideally before brushing teeth. Fill up your bottle during the day when required.

It is not recommended to use anything else other than plain water, due to the fact that copper is highly reactive with any acids. Acids like lemon or some fruits may be used to clean the copper but you must not drink out of that water. It can be stored in a fridge but it is recommended  in Ayurveda to drink water at room temperature.

Not designed for hot water as the vessels are not thermally insulated. This bottle is solely intended for room temperature water, as recommended in the Ayurvedic practices for optimum health benefits.

Stored water may have a sweeter taste and thinner texture from reports customers have made. Some customers have not reported any difference in the taste of the water when using the bottle.

Before using your copper vessel for the first time, please remember to rinse the inside of the vessel thoroughly. We recommend, filling the bottle with water and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Soak this mixture for 20 minutes and rinse thoroughly before use.

Please avoid using any detergents or chemicals to clean this product.

This is a very subjective matter. Many of our customers have reported to us that they have found the water to have a sweeter taste and thinner texture. Some customers have not reported any difference.

To maintain the free opening of the bottle lid, apply any edible oil to the thread. This will ensure that the lid mechanism opens and closes freely. Please take care when opening and closing the copper bottle. Copper is a soft metal and if excess pressure is applied to the wrong part of the thread the lid can jam. Lubricating the lid will also help with this.

Drinking tap water stored in a pure copper vessel overnight may provide supplementary support to a well-balanced diet according to Ayurveda. The water may accumulate safe levels of copper traces, approximately 10μg/L over 8 hours. This is a safe amount to consume daily, well below the RDA of 900 μg/day copper for adults.

The Flower of Life is one of the basic sacred geometry shapes. The Flower of Life starts with the Seed of Life shape: 7 overlapping circles that build outward, forming a flower-like pattern. Said to be the basic template for everything in existence; all geometric forms can be found within it.

The Flower of Life symbolises creation and reminds us of the unity of everything: we’re all built from the same blueprint.

Ayurveda originates from India and is based on the principles of balancing the systems within the body. Each gemstone resonates with a particular emotion.

The affirmation to follow when using the vessels is Touch it, Think it, Drink it.

Touch the gemstone that resonates with the emotion you want to feel, cultivate that emotion within you and hold that intention, then drink the water.

Chakra Crystals Explained

Ayurveda is a traditional, natural system of medicine that originates from India. Copper water is one of the fundamental healing principles in this traditional healing system.

The process of creating our bespoke product begins in Northern India, where Indian artisans have been carrying out metalwork for centuries. In an age where modern technology and its relationship to labour are making vast strides, we feel it is important to support the local artisans and help keep the traditions of their ancestors alive and maintain production of local handcrafted items.

Our products are produced using pure copper, are reusable and recyclable, making it eco-friendly allowing a harmonious relationship between ourselves and nature.

The copper is melted down, pressed into sheets and cut into the shape of circle discs. The discs are taken and placed on a spinning lathe and hand spun into the shape of bottles, cups and tanks.

After the spinning process has taken place and the shape of the item is finalised they are engraved with sacred geometry and positive affirmations.

The pure silver bezels that hold the precious gemstones onto the copper are welded on and the gemstones are carefully hand set.

Finally, the vessels are lacquered on the outside so that they will not tarnish. Copper is a reactive metal that oxidises, and the lacquer prevents this process so that it maintains its beauty.

According to Dr Masaru Emoto’s research the water crystals form different shapes depending upon the intention placed upon or words spoken near the water. The image below shows the shapes of some of the crystals formed when Dr Emoto’s team placed various intentions on the water.
